This up and coming business in the truck driver training marketplace has nice equipment, experienced and patient instructors, compassionate management and quick turn around times for maintenance issues with the trucks when they happen. I appreciate them working with my specific situation to ensure I could complete my license after leaving another school that I was not trained as well at. The instructors know the DMV standards inside and out and will make sure they get you ready to test and give you honest feedback. They are also getting examining authority soon in their yard. I am trying to get into trucking school and had spoke to Casey about how to get enrolled to start getting financed for my CDL. I had called around to other schools but only OTR had someone available to answered my questions. He also would call to follow up with me. But since I am relocating out of state I will have to get my training where I am moving to. Casey really made me comfortable through the whole process. They didn’t make me feel like just a number through the door. They help me understand what I needed to do, and then gave me the keys to open my own doors. I have a story about Blaine Bowen. I attended his class and I am now a over the road truck driver driving all 48 states. I was in class with a young mother who was working as a hostess in a Denny’s at the state line between Nevada and California which was an hour away from the school. This young mother lived in pahrump so she had to drive one hour to work and then she had to drive one hour to get to school, this young lady didn’t have gas money to get to school so Blaine told her that him and his wife were going to go have lunch at her restaurant and he was going to leave her a tip big enough to cover her gas expenses to get home, to get to school, and to get to work everyday for a month. As we all know gas is expensive and she did not live close to the school or her job. Besides him being a kind person he was down to earth he was funny and he was very patient and kind. He’s just a cool down to earth man and I really loved being in his class. I’m now gainfully employed and I feel great.

This a great place to get your CDL very friendly crew and the prices are fair compared to other schools .I was already a cdl holder but needed manual transmission lessons as a refresher Casey helped pick the right classes working around my work schedule. Blaine is a great teacher learned alot more from him on how to shift on a manual truck than anyone else.

If you are looking to get your CDL, I highly recommend giving OTR a call. I did my research and went to visit 5 other schools in Las Vegas before enrolling with OTR. They were able to work with me on a refresher course since I had previously attended another school (NEVER GO TO 160 Driving Academy) and I just needed to work on my skills and retake my test. I was blown away by the difference in this school. The office and classroom had a welcoming feel, the staff were genuine and knowledgeable, my instructors on the yard were patient and encouraging. I wish I would have went to this school my first time around. This school doesn’t just feel like they want to take your money, they seem genuinely invested in you as a person. If you’re willing to put in the work, they will be there to support and guide you with the areas you may be struggling with and make sure you are given the opportunity to be successful.
